I love starting off the morning with my daily dose of fruits and veggies. I find it gives me a great jump start on my day! It makes me feel good about The fuel I’m giving my body to conquer the day. I talk a lot about how to nourish your mind, soul and spirit on this platform so I don’t want to forget to discuss some vital information. It’s just as important to nourish your body for  over all wellness and well-being. I’m a huge believer an advocate of balance in life. Balance is a big contributing factor to a healthy happy life. I’m always excited and encouraged to offer and receive any tips for overall wellness and balance.

~ Question….Do any of you notice a difference in your energy levels, general wellness, or moods when you eat healthy and clean versus the standard American diet? what makes you feel vital, strong and good? What  makes you feel sluggish and moody? It always fascinates me to see how different this is for each individual. I love talking about this because your experience may just help a fellow tribe member . Would love to hear your thoughts. Also, please share your favorite energy boosting secrets as well as overall wellness favorites with the group !!

Below I’ve posted the ingredients for the breakfast above. Enjoy and feel free to share your favorites.

~In the cup is a fresh green juice. I blend water, spinach, chard, kale, pineapples, mangoes and banana. (sometimes I add turmeric or spirulina) 75% greens 25% fruit. ( you can add any fruit or vegetables you desire) you can add more fruit if vegetables are hard for you to palate. I personally love the green taste so I opt out of too much fruit.

Your Road To Wellness

~ Avocado toast! Yummy this is one of my favorites. I use whole wheat or sourdough toast and spread a half avocado on the bread. Then I add cilantro, micro greens, sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds and a top it off with Trader Joe’s everything bagel seasoning. Soooo good!

~ Herb eggs! Nom nom nom.. this recipe you can really play with. I typically utilize whatever is fresh in my garden. However it typically consists of the following. Finely chopped spinach, chard, green onions, jalapeños, tomatoes, rosemary, basil, etc. satay them in olive oil and add eggs and voilà!

The great thing about these recipes is you can tailor them to create any flavor you like. Feel free to add whatever fruit, herb or vegetable suits your personal desires.
